Tipping off their 12th season in the WNBA, the Minnesota Lynx are gearing up for what could be one of the greatest seasons in the franchise's history. Joining the team this year is former University of Minnesota standout player, Lindsay Whalen, who was also recently added to the USA Basketball Women's National Team along with teammates Candice Wiggins and Olympic Gold Medalist, Seimone Augustus, the league's points-per-game leader. With a talented roster of players and a new head coach, Cheryl Reeve, bringing 9 years of WNBA coaching experience and two championship titles under her belt, the Minnesota Lynx will be a forced to be reckoned with this year.
