*Target Center’s definition of “Weapons” includes but is not limited to the following; knives or blades of any length, metal nail files, chains longer than 6 inches not made of precious metals (i.e. platinum, gold or sterling silver), firearms (authentic or replicated, including toys), clubs or extendable batons, any type of chemical irritant spray, stun guns or tasers, spiked or studded jewelry, brass knuckles or any other item that could likely be used as a weapon or may cause injury if thrown or used improperly. The only exception to this section of the policy is for credentialed law enforcement officers who are on duty or under the employ of Target Center at the time of entry. Said officers must be in uniform or identify themselves to door security staff and be cleared by uniformed Minneapolis Police on site prior to entry.
**This may vary depending on individual requirements of individual shows. Digital and Film Cameras are allowed at all basketball games.
***Limited food and/or snacks are defined as; one small bag snack per child, cardboard juice boxes or foil juice bags. If a large number of expected guests are school groups this may be amended to allow these groups to enter with bag/box lunches. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis by authorized staff listed above. “Limited Outside Food Items or Snacks” does not apply to specific family shows where there is no outside food allowed.
**** Video cameras are allowed for high school games and graduations.
***** Cameras with Detachable and Lenses over 3 inches are allowed for high school games and graduations.
