Getting Here
Target Center is conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis and is accessible via car, bus or train. The arena is located at 600 First Avenue North in the heart of the Warehouse and Entertainment district of Minneapolis. Target Center is on the northwest side of downtown Minneapolis between 6th and 7th Streets.
Traffic Pattern Changes:
Beginning October 10, 2009 – The City of Minneapolis will convert both Hennepin Avenue and First Avenue to two-way traffic streets. For more information: click here.
Public Transportation
Metro Transit’s Downtown Zone is inexpensive travel without the footwork. It’s a bus or train ride for a fraction of the normal fare! You can reach Target Center, most downtown stores, restaurants and businesses on the Downtown Zone fare, which is 50 cents.
Buses
Target Center is easy to access from the Bus Line and is 1 block from Light Rail line. For more information on public transit visit www.metrotransit.org. Simply tell the driver before you pay your fare that you will be riding only within the Downtown Zone to avoid paying the normal fare. If you ride outside the zone, the driver will ask you to pay the added fare. Transfers are not available with Downtown Zone fares.
Trains
Buy a Downtown Zone ticket at the station’s vending machine. It is valid for one ride on the next train. If you leave the Downtown Zone without buying a regular fare ticket, you may be fined up to $180.

Driving Directions
From North:
Take 35W south to the Washington Avenue Exit. Take a right on Washington Avenue and proceed up to 1st Avenue and take a left. Take First Avenue to 6th Street. Target Center will be on your Right. To park in Ramp B turn right on 5th Street 1 block. To park in Ramp A turn Right on Seventh Street 1 block.
Alternatively, patrons can take 94 South. Exit to 4th Street and either take a left on 2nd Avenue and park in Ramp C, or proceed up to 1st Avenue and go right to 5th Street 1 block and park in Ramp B, or 3 blocks up to 7th Street and park in Ramp A.

From South:
Take 35W north to the Downtown Exits and follow the 5th Avenue Exit. Take a left on either 7th Street (and go straight to the A Ramp) or 5th Street (and go straight to the B Ramp). From East:
Take 94 West to the 11th Street Exit. Follow 11th Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn right. Turn left on 9th Street. Proceed directly into Hawthorne Ramp. Due to the increase in recent area construction, please pay close attention to signs and changes in traffic routing around Target Center.
From West:
Take 394 East and exit directly into Ramp A, B or C.

Take 94 East to the northbound 4th Street Exit. Take right onto 1st Avenue North. Turn right on 5th Street or 7th Street and proceed into Ramp A, B or C. Due to the increase in recent area construction, please pay close attention to signs and changes in traffic routing around Target Center.
