Go 96.3 announces Snow Show ’16: One more party before the year ends! Snow Show ’16 will feature Bastille, with special guests Banks, COIN, and Judah & the Lion. Plus, Go 96.3 will be holding a local band contest, giving local artists a shot at opening up the night.

Bastille are a British indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, guitarist and bassist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day, which is celebrated on July 14, the date of Smith's birthday. After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records. Their first studio album, Bad Blood, was released in March 2013 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number one. The band was nominated for four Brit Awards at the 2014 ceremony, winning the British Breakthrough Act. Bastille's second album, Wild World, appeared in September.

Banks is an American singer and songwriter from Orange County, California. Following the release of two extended plays, Fall Over and London, in 2013, Banks released her debut album, Goddess, on September 5, 2014, to positive reviews from contemporary music critics. Her second studio album, The Altar, was released on September 30, 2016. She has toured internationally with The Weeknd and was also nominated for the Sound of 2014 award by the BBC and an MTV Brand New Nominee in 2014.

Formed in Nashville but carving a space in the field of bright, synth-spiked indie pop more often associated with L.A. and N.Y.C., COIN were started by students at Belmont University in 2012. They sold out a show for the first time by the summer of 2013, and the quartet of Chase Lawrence (vocals/synths), Joe Memmel (guitar/vocals), Zachary Dyke (bass), and Ryan Winnen (drums) signed with Columbia that fall. Working with producer and co-writer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage the Elephant), they released their self-titled debut in 2015. Behind the single "Run," it landed on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The band came back a year later with the kissing anthem "Talk Too Much."

Judah & the Lion

Judah & the Lion are a folk-pop trio based in Nashville, Tennessee. Singer/guitarist Judah Akers met mandolinist Brian Macdonald and banjo player Nate Zuercher through mutual friends and the three began playing together in late 2011. In 2014 they released their first full-length album,  Kids These Days, which rose to number four on Billboard's folk chart. For their follow-up, Judah & the Lion worked with producer Dave Cobb (Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell) to deliver 2016's Folk Hop n' Roll, an album that further blended their myriad influences from hip-hop to indie rock and folk, and featuring the single “Take It All Back”.
