COVID-19 INFORMATION

For 30 years the health and safety of our employees and guests has been of the utmost priority and will continue to be so as we navigate our new environment. As a proud member of the Minneapolis community, we look forward to opening Target Center’s doors and providing world class entertainment to the most passionate music and sports fans in the world.

Target Center is operated by ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management and services company with over 325 venues worldwide. In response to the 2020 pandemic, ASM Global has launched VenueShield, an advanced environmental hygiene and operational protocol developed for more than 325 ASM Global facilities around the world. All protocols are aligned with public health authorities, medical and industry experts. VenueShield reduces physical touch points, increases venue sanitation and cleanliness, and provides health monitoring guidelines and services.

All procedures will be continually updated with the most recent information provided by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Health Service (NHS), and World Health Organization (WHO), local, and state officials.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

Target Center will clean and disinfect with EPA approved N-List disinfectants and cleaning products. High touch and traffic areas will receive increased sanitization and disinfection efforts. These areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Soap & Hand Sanitizer Locations
  • Bathrooms, Toilets, Sinks, Paper Towel Dispensers, etc.
  • All Concession and Food Service Locations
  • Guest Service Locations and Equipment
  • Escalator Railings
  • Door Handles
  • Elevator Buttons

Hand sanitization stations are located throughout Target Center. Guests are encouraged to wash hands and sanitize frequently.

Contactless Experience

To reduce touch points for guests and employees throughout the arena, no-touch credit card payment systems have been implemented at all box office windows and food service areas. Concessions may be purchased by using the Timberwolves or Lynx app.

COVID-19 Health Screening

All guests must review and verbally respond to a series of health screening survey questions prior to entering the arena to verify that they are not potentially infectious.

Employee Health & Safety Protocols

Protecting the health and safety of all guests and employees at Target Center is of the utmost importance. Employees are required to follow a new set of protocols prior to coming to Target Center and before entering the venue.

  • Employees are required to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of or have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • Employees will complete a health questionaire at the beginning of each day or prior to their shift.
  • Practice physical distancing of 6ft (2 meters) when possible.
  • Wear gloves when appropriate.
  • Practice good hygiene.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and high touch point areas on a regular basis.

Mask Policy

Face masks are no longer mandated by local and state government and not required to attend an event at Target Center.

No Bag Policy

For the health and safety of guests and staff, to reduce staff touch points and to expedite entry times for guests, Target Center has a no bag policy that prohibits purses, backpacks, large bags, clutches, camera cases and other similar bags from being carried into the arena. Permitted items include wallets able to fit inside your pocket, diaper bags and medical bags (diaper and medical bags subject to search upon entry).

Feminine hygiene products are available free of charge at Guest Services in Section 116.

Physical Distancing

Social distancing is encouraged while inside Target Center.

Sanitization Stations

Hydroalcoholic gel touchless hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed throughout Target Center, including at screening and entrance points, as well as in high-touch and high-traffic areas. Guests are encouraged to wash hands and sanitize frequently.

Tickets

In order to reduce touchpoints, all tickets will be digitally delivered to the AXS mobile app, Timberwolves mobile app or Lynx mobile app. Be sure to log in to your account in the mobile app to show the QR code which will be scanned for entry. Tickets may be resold exclusively via the AXS or Timberwolves/ Lynx official marketplace. Any violation will result in ticket revocation.
