Acceptable Forms of Identification

All Guests who appear to be thirty (30) years of age or younger will be required to show positive and current proof of age prior to being served alcoholic beverages.

Acceptable forms of valid photo identification are: State Issued Driver’s Licenses, State Issued I.D. Cards, United States Passports, United States Military I.D. Cards, Canadian Issued Driver's Licenses and International Passports. Note - expired identification pieces including driver's licenses accompanied by a license renewal application will not be accepted.  No paper forms of ID will be accepted.

Guests may purchase up to 2 alcoholic beverages at a time. Alcohol service may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of management.

Arena Tours

Fresh from a $140 million renovation in 2017, we welcome fans to take a tour of the transformed Target Center!

Tours are offered on non-event days for $10 per guest and are approximately 1-1.5 hours in duration. Your tour guide will meet you at the Life Time Lobby and lead you around the facility through the Lexus Courtside Club, the event floor, backstage hallways, Treasure Island Resort & Casino Premium level, and more!

Tours are unavailable on select days due to the event schedule at Target Center. To ensure your preferred tour date is available, please review the current event calendar. If an event is scheduled, tours are not available.

ASL Interpreter

When purchasing event tickets, you can also request seating in the hearing impaired section. A hearing impaired interpreter can be provided for events upon request.

To request an ASL interpreter, contact the Target Center Box Office via phone (612-673-0900) or e-mail the request to info@targetcenter.com at least 10 business days prior to the event you are attending. Interpreter seats cannot be purchased via AXS.com or Ticketmaster.com. In order to purchase tickets, contact the box office to purchase. These seats are first come first serve until sold out. An ASL interpreter will not be provided unless requested.

Assisted Hearing Services

A limited number of listening devices are available for use during events from the Guest Services Offices, located at section 116 and 216. If your group requires several listening devices, please call 612-673-1380 (at least 2 weeks prior to event day) to alert the Guest Service Staff.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx provide captioning services at all Target Center home games.

ATMs

ATM machines are located inside the arena at section 104 and 204.  These machines are only accessible for guests with tickets to an event.

An additional ATM machine is also available for the general public in the Life Time Lobby near the elevator. 

Bag Policy

Permitted items include bags no larger than 5” x 9", diaper bags and medical bags (subject to search upon entry). Feminine hygiene products are available free of charge at Guest Services in Section 116.

Ball in Play Policy

Target Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Please be aware of our Whistle Policy, which requires guests to refrain from accessing their seats until the ball is no longer in play. This policy enables guests to enjoy an unobstructed view of the game.

Binocular Rentals

Target Center provides binocular rentals for a fee for many events. You may rent binoculars from the Guest Services office at sections 116 and 216. 

Box Office Hours

Target Center Box Office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10AM- 6PM. Target Center Box Office is also open on non-Timberwolves and Lynx event days, starting at 10AM. Tickets may be purchased at AXS.com or Ticketmaster.com (show dependent). Camera Policy

The photography/videography policy varies by event. For event specific questions, please call 612-673-1300 in advance. As a general rule, all video cameras and still cameras with detachable lenses or with lenses of 3 inches or longer are prohibited. 

This policy is subject to change.

Child Wristband Registration

Target Center proudly offers Child Wristband Registration, a free service for all guests designed to assist in the prompt and safe return of a child in case of a separation from their parent.

As an active community participant, Target Center is dedicated to assisting community organizations that hold non-profit 501(c)(3) status and focus on educational betterment for today’s youth in Minnesota. Target Center receives many requests for donations and each and every one is given serious consideration.

Door Times

For all concerts, events and games, doors will open 1 hour prior to the start of the event – unless otherwise noted on our website.

Electronic Devices

As a general rule, electronic devices larger than a cell phone are NOT allowed at Target Center events. Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to, Kindles, ipads and laptops.

Fan Courtesy

Fan courtesy is an important element of enjoyment at Target Center. Improper conduct (including profane or abusive language and throwing objects) may result in ejection from the building. Repeated offenses could result in the loss of ticket privileges. 

First Aid Locations

First aid facilities are available at section 116 in the lower concourse.  Guests can also ask the nearest usher, security officer or event staff for assistance. 

Feminine hygiene products are also available free of charge at Guest Services in Section 116. 

Food & Beverage Policies

ALCOHOL POLICY

Target Center, Levy Restaurants and arena security work hard to promote responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Our alcohol policies are listed below.

  • All guests purchasing alcohol who appear to be less than 30 years old must present a valid ID. 
  • No alcohol will be sold to guests who appear to be intoxicated. 
  • There is a two (2) alcoholic beverage limit, per person, per transaction.
  • Management reserves the right to cut off alcohol sales at its discretion. 
  • Guests passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and subject to arrest. 
  • Guests possessing alcohol, who do not have proof of being at least 21 years of age, may be ejected. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guests. 
  • Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the arena. Any attempt to bring alcohol into the arena will be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in the guests being ejected, arrested or tickets being revoked. 
  • All guests must finish and dispose of alcoholic beverages before exiting the arena.

FOOD POLICY

Outside food and beverage are not allowed into Target Center. We do have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available. View all of our concessions options HERE.

Guest Drop-Off/Pick-Up

Guests being dropped off or picked up from an event at Target Center can use our designated drop-off lane located on 1st Avenue in the front of the building.

Guest Service Assistance Line

If you have a question, thought or concern, please leave a message on the Guest Service Assistance Line 952-592-5520. Messages are checked regularly and your call will be returned. If you are calling specifically for Lost and Found call 612-673-1333.

Guest Services Office

Target Center provides many services to our guests. Our Guest Services Offices are located on both the 100 and 200 level concourses at section 116 and 216.

Guest Waiting Area

Parents/guests who are bringing others to an event but will not be attending the event themselves can wait in the Life Time Lobby. Chairs may be made available for some shows . Call 612-673-1300 prior to the event for more information.

Please note: Target Center is not responsible for any minors who are left unattended at an event. We strongly encourage parents and guardians to use their best judgment when allowing any child to attend an event without adult supervision. There are no public restrooms in the arena - guests must have an event ticket to access the arena restrooms. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Item Check

Target Center encourages guests to be familiar with our Permitted and Prohibited Item List before attending an event.  We do not offer an item check and ask that these items be left at home or in your vehicle before entering the arena.  

Life Time Fitness

Life Time Fitness, where the belief is that a fitness facility is more than a building full of exercise equipment, aerobic studios and swimming pools; rather, it is a commitment to the health and well-being of the people they serve. Life Time Fitness is located in the lower level of Target Center. Join In! Call 612-486-3600 for more information.

Lost and Found

A lost and found service is available during events in the Guest Services Office located at section 116 and 216. Articles are kept at the office until the end of the event and then are stored in our security office for 15 days. For more information, please call 612-673-1333.

Lost Children

Lost children are immediately brought to the Guest Services Office located on the arena level on which they were found. If you are looking for a lost child or need assistance of any kind, please contact any Target Center event staff.

Mother's Room

We have a Mother's Room available for use, located outside Section 120 and next to a women's restroom. If you have a portable electric breast pump, we do permit larger bags for the use of medical supplies. If you have this type of bag, please alert security (as they will otherwise advise you to return it to your vehicle) and then they'll screen it at the gates. Unfortunately, we do not offer refrigeration in this room.

Peanut-Free Requests

Peanut-free ticketing requests may be submitted for Target Center events. If there is a specific event you need Peanut-Free ticketing for, please contact Target Center's box office at 612-673-0900. 

Target Center will make every effort to accommodate your request and follow strict protocol to eliminate peanut allergens in this area, but it is not guaranteed. It is important you carry your life saving medicine with you at all times.

Target Center creates a safe and secure environment for guests and employees. The venue security personnel reserve the right to determine the method of security checks as deemed necessary including the use of metal detectors, the search of jackets, clothing and other items.

All guests are required to wear proper footwear inside the building.

*Target Center’s definition of “Weapons” includes but is not limited to the following; knives or blades of any length, metal nail files, chains longer than 6 inches not made of precious metals (i.e. platinum, gold or sterling silver), firearms (authentic or replicated, including toys), clubs or extendable batons, any type of chemical irritant spray, stun guns or tasers, spiked jewelry, brass knuckles or any other item that could likely be used as a weapon or may cause injury if thrown or used improperly. The only exception to this section of the policy is for credentialed law enforcement officers who are on duty or under the employ of Target Center at the time of entry. Said officers must be in uniform or identify themselves to door security staff and be cleared by uniformed Minneapolis Police on site prior to entry.

**Limited food and/or snacks are defined as; one small bag snack per child, cardboard juice boxes or foil juice bags. If a large number of expected guests are school groups this may be amended to allow these groups to enter with bag/box lunches. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis by authorized staff listed above. “Limited Outside Food Items or Snacks” does not apply to specific shows where there is no outside food allowed. Guests with a medical issue should contact Target Center Guest Services at 612-673-1380 in advance.

***Service animals are allowed.  

Poster/Signage Policy

As a general rule, posters/signage under 11 x 17 inches are allowed in Target Center, pending individual tour/promoter approval. All posters/signage must be handheld, may not be mounted on sticks or poles, may not be lit or constructed using lighting elements, may not contain offensive language or graphics and may not prevent other guests from seeing the stage/event. Posters/signage deemed "inappropriate" for any reason will be confiscated by Target Center or tour security. Target Center reserves the right to amend this policy at any time based on specific event requirements. Our poster/signage policy does vary by event, so please call 612-673-1300 in advance with questions.

Re-Entry Policy

Target Center has a no re-entry policy for all events. Once you leave the building during an event, you will not be permitted to return.

 

Refunds

Target Center cannot refund the cost of any previously purchased tickets.

Scoreboard Messages

Special greetings and messages may be put on the center scoreboard for most Timberwolves and Lynx games. Please call 612-673-1600 for more information. There is an additional charge and it does require five day notice prior to the game.

Special messages and announcements are not available for concerts and other events at Target Center.

Sensory Room

We have a sensory friendly room available for use during all events. To gain access to this space, please visit the Guest Services Office, located outside of section 116 on the 100-level concourse.

 

Service Animals

All service animals are welcome. If purchasing game tickets, please notify your ticket seller at the time of purchase if an aisle seat is required to accommodate your service animal. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. 

Pets are not permitted in Target Center.

Smoking Policy

Target Center is a smoke-free building and was the first major arena in the U.S. designated completely non-smoking. The use of cigarettes (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted inside of the arena.  Guests will not be allowed to leave the arena to smoke.  Once you leave the building during an event, you will not be permitted to return.

In addition to the arena’s own policy, smoking is not allowed in public facilities in Hennepin County. Smoking may result in ejection from an event and/or an actual citation. 

Solicitation/Vending

Target Center does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers or other promotional/advertising materials on the premises unless approved in advance by management

Taxis

Riders can find a dedicated area for taxi drop-offs at the corner of 1st Avenue and 6th Street. View a list of reccommended taxi companies.

Ticket Resale

AXS and Ticketmaster are the authorized ticketing agents of Target Center. If you purchase resale tickets from an unauthorized agent (Scalper, Ticket Broker, eBay, etc) you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets.

Uber & Ride-Sharing Apps

Riders can find a dedicated area for Uber pickups and drop-offs at the corner of 1st Avenue and 6th Street that's easily accessible before and after games, concerts and events.

Unaccompanied Minor Statute

MINNEAPOLIS YOUTH CURFEW HOURS
Target Center follows Hennepin County Ordinance No. 16, Sub. A, B, or C which established curfew times for unaccompanied youth ages 17 and under. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult should accompany youth after curfew hours.

Wheelchair Assistance

Target Center is fully ADA compliant with a drop-off lane on 1st Avenue in front of the building, elevators that are accessible to all levels of the arena, designated disability seating locations and wheelchair accessibility.

Guests who require use of an elevator should park in Ramp A or B and enter the arena on skyway level. The official ADA drop-off and pick-up is located on 1st Avenue in the front of the building.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own wheelchairs whenever possible. Target Center does have a limited number of wheelchairs on site for all events that can be used to transport a guest to and from their seat location; however, these wheelchairs cannot be left with the guest during the event. A guest services employee can meet a guest at either entrance of Target Center (skyway or main lobby), transport them to their seat and meet them following the event if needed. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs available on site, a slight delay may occur. Guests can call Guest Services at 612-673-1380 with questions regarding accessibility.

Target Center CANNOT provide wheelchair transportation outside of the arena.
