MINNESOTA LYNX ANNOUNCE 2026 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2026 WNBA season. The Lynx will tip off the regular season at Target Center on Sunday, May 10, at 6:00 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream. The 2026 campaign features 44 regular-season games spanning May 10 through Sept. 24.
After recording a 20–2 record at Target Center last season, Minnesota’s 22-game home schedule includes 10 weekend games (one Friday, four Saturday and five Sunday), along with four Monday, two Tuesday, two Wednesday and four Thursday contests. The Lynx will have one three-game homestand (June 4–9) and two four-game homestands (July 11–18 and Aug. 2–9), as well as one three-game road trip (June 24–July 3) and one four-game road trip (Aug. 12–21). The 2026 season also marks a milestone for Minnesota Lynx Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Cheryl Reeve, who needs just 16 more wins to become the all-time winningest coach in WNBA history.
The Lynx home schedule is highlighted by a visit from reigning WNBA Champion Las Vegas on Saturday, Aug. 8, along with matchups against 2024 WNBA Finals opponent New York on Saturday, July 11, and Friday, Sept. 18. Minnesota will also host the league’s newest franchise, Toronto, on Thursday, May 21, and Tuesday, July 28, and will welcome Portland back to the WNBA on Monday, June 15.
The WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase will take place from June 1–17, and Minnesota will look to advance to the Commissioner’s Cup Championship for a third consecutive year. The Lynx will pause regular-season action from July 23–26 for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago, Ill. Later in the season, the schedule includes a break from Aug. 31–Sept. 17 for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026.
